Meet the good people who bring us our quality ingredients. We're much more than partners in food. We're family. (For real!)

Brandt Beef

Committed to three generations of source-verified, sustainable practices, Brandt Beef is a Southern California single family-owned, all-natural beef program that serves the upscale restaurant and retail markets.

The Brandt family has been in the livestock business since 1945, establishing the commitment to “true natural” farm to fork operations that Brandt Beef champions today. Brandt Beef is dedicated to producing a superior culinary product and utilizes state-of-the-art technology to track each step of the process. The program also emphasizes care and respect of the environment and the use of the entire animal. Brandt Beef’s dedication to sustainability and transparency has earned it the CARE Certification from Where Food Comes From.

Every Brandt Beef product is all natural, raised without beta-agonists, age and source verified, with no added hormones. The recipient of numerous awards, Brandt Beef is served in high-end restaurants, hotels, and retailers across the United States and around the world.

New York Bakery

Despite the name, New York Bakery is located in nearby Richmond, CA! This small, family-run bakery punches above its weight in dough among so many larger wholesale bakeries nearby. Head baker, Jose Villanueva, used to be a bread delivery man, forming relationships with restaurant owners until he could own a bakery of his own. He met our Chef Jose and the two formed a friendship. Eventually, we asked New York Bakery to make our Super Duper buns fresh every morning for us. And a lasting bread bond was formed.

Straus Family Creamery

Founder Albert Straus and his siblings were greatly influenced by their parents, Bill and Ellen Straus, who were very early environmentalists -- living their lives as stewards of the land.

When they fled to California during World War II, they fell in love with each other, and the land of Tomales Bay. Bill purchased a small dairy farm in 1941 with 23 Jersey cows and began adopting new environmentally-sound agricultural practices before anyone else. Ellen became a famous environmentalist, founding the famous Marin Agricultural Land Trust (MALT) in 1980, which went on to set the standard for land trusts across the country.

In 1994, The Straus Family Creamery became the first 100% certified organic creamery in the country. It's still a mission-driven, family-operated business, just as Bill and Ellen would have wanted.

Peregrine Ranch

We've worked hard to create our own organic, sustainable, biodynamic, wine, working side-by-side with the experienced winemakers at Peregrine Ranch in Healdsburg, CA.

A family-owned and operated business, Peregrine Ranch farms and produces wines with a sustainable footprint, making an effort to have as low an impact on the land as possible.

Our house Zinfandel and Cabernet is 100% organic, with zero added sulfites, preservatives, or other chemicals, served on tap in kegs instead of bottles, eliminating packaging waste while keeping our wine fresh and tasty.

Come try our house wines on tap, available at all Super Duper locations.

New Bohemia Signs

Since day one, we knew the decor in our restaurants had to match the handcrafted quality we put into our food, so we called upon New Bohemia Signs, the longest running sign shop in San Francisco. They painted the first Super Duper medallion in the Castro back in 2010 and we've hired them for every opening since.

They're responsible for all the hand painted signage you see inside and outside our restaurants, putting in the time and effort to meticulously handcraft each sign, the same way we take the time to handcraft your burgers.

California Avocados

We proudly serve fresh avocados grown right here in our home state of California. To give you an idea of what makes California Avocados particularly special, less than 1 percent of the state is suitable for growing them. We’re talking only the richest rich soil, the freshest coastal breezes, and, of course, the friendly California sun. This, accompanied by the care of more than 3,000 California Avocado growers, ensures you that creamy avocado tastes with each slice.
